A woman was injured as a result of an elevator falling in a shopping center in southwest Moscow

An elevator crashed in a shopping mall on Kakhovka Street in southwest Moscow, injuring a woman. This was announced on Sunday, April 13, by the press service of the Moscow prosecutor's office.

"According to preliminary data, the elevator fell from the 1st floor to the 2nd floor," the agency said in a statement on the Telegram channel.

The victim was taken to a medical facility. The circumstances of the incident are being established. The progress and results of the inspection are being monitored by the interdistrict prosecutor's office, the report says.

In Ufa, on February 5, an elevator with three underage girls fell into a shaft from the third floor. It was clarified that at first the cabin stopped, after which the lights went out in it, and it abruptly collapsed. The teenagers were not injured.
