Lokomotiv tied the score with Avangard in the quarterfinals of the KHL playoffs

The Lokomotiv hockey club from Yaroslavl beat the Avangard Omsk team in the second match of the Gagarin Cup quarterfinal series (Fonbet – Kontinental Hockey League (KHL) playoffs). The match took place on April 13 and ended with a score of 4:1.

The game was played at the Yaroslavl team's home Arena 2000. In the last match, forwards Maxim Berezkin (21st minute), Maxim Shalunov (24th), Alexander Radulov (37th) and Georgy Ivanov (51st) scored goals for the winners. Forward Vladimir Tkachev scored the goal for Avangard (31).

Thanks to the victory of Lokomotiv, the score in the series became 1:1. To advance to the next round, one of the teams must score 4 points. The third meeting between the rivals will be held on April 15, the Omsk club will play at home.
