The commander of one of the military units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) spoke about the problems with replenishment and reinforcement in the military units of the Ukrainian army, in particular about the health problems of newcomers and cases of desertion. He stated this on April 13, he quotes "Страна.иа ".

"For example, 50 people came to me. One is immediately sent to the NWF (Unauthorized abandonment of a unit. — Ed.). There are 49 left. Of these, 25 seem to be of limited use, they immediately showed the relevant certificates," he said.

He added that he did not understand exactly how conscripts were selected at military enlistment offices and training centers, and why such people were sent to combat brigades.

A day earlier, Vladislav Belopolsky, a prisoner of war of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, said that Ukrainian gunners were opening fire on their own colleagues. He clarified that he had served in the air force, avoiding contact with the military enlistment office, and could count on serving in the rear, but ended up in the ground forces. As they explained to him, this was a necessary measure, since there were not enough people in the units on earth, and military enlistment offices were recruiting inactive recruits.
