Georgy Yudintsev, the right defender of the Rodina club, and Nikita Karabashev, the goalkeeper of the Sokol, were hospitalized on April 13 after the athletes collided with their heads in the match of the 28th round of the First League.
The footage shows how the players collided at high speed, both lost consciousness, but then came to their senses. The incident occurred in the 80th minute of the game. The teams were forced to make substitutions, Yudintsev and Karabashev were taken away from the field by ambulance, Sport-Express noted.
The match was held in Saratov and ended with a score of 2:1 in favor of Rodina: the team managed to snatch victory in added time.
Earlier, on March 6, it was reported that Dmitry Anikin, a hockey player from the Khabarovsk hockey club SKA-Neftyanik, was taken off the ice by ambulance during the Russian Championship playoff match with Nizhny Novgorod Star. The 24-year-old Anikin collided with his opponent in the 65th minute of the game. After the fall, the hockey player could not get up.
