- The Russian Foreign Ministry pointed to the improvement of relations between Russia and China in the context of trade wars

Relations between Russia and China can become even stronger in the context of trade wars in the world. This was announced on April 13 by Deputy Foreign Minister Andrei Rudenko.
Thus, Rudenko supported the statement of Boris Titov, special representative of the President of Russia for relations with international organizations for achieving sustainable development goals, that the duties of the American leader Donald Trump would strengthen economic ties between Russia and China.
"I agree with this assessment," he told TASS.
In addition, the Deputy Foreign Minister of the Russian Federation believes that, based on recent events, Russia can overcome another record high in trade turnover between the countries.
CNBC, citing the White House, reported on April 10 that Trump had increased duties on goods from China to 145%. U.S. Vice President Jay D. Vance said Trump wants peace, but also wants fair trade and "greater self-sufficiency for the American economy."
On April 1, Russian President Vladimir Putin, at a meeting with Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi, noted that Russia and China are working together successfully on many international platforms, including the United Nations, the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) and the BRICS.
