The Investigative Committee reported on the investigation into the murder of a civilian in the Kursk region by AFU militants.

The murder of a civilian committed by militants of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) is being investigated in the Kursk region. This was reported on April 13 by the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation in the Telegram channel.

It is specified that in November 2024, the Ukrainian Armed Forces used physical violence against a local resident for a long time, and also burned down his house. As a result of their actions, the man died.

In addition, the department noted that the mother of the deceased informed the investigators about this crime. She said that she buried her son on the territory of the house, because the Ukrainian militants forbade burying people in cemeteries.

"The investigation will identify and bring to justice representatives of the armed formations of Ukraine involved in these crimes," the statement said.
