- Employees of the UFSB in the DPR prevented a terrorist attack in one of the schools in Donetsk

Employees of the FSB directorate for the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) have worked out proactive information about the preparation of a terrorist act for students of school No. 14 in the Donetsk city district, and a terrorist attack has been prevented. This was announced on April 13 in the press service of the department.
Experts have established that the student, being a supporter of the Columbine movement (banned in Russia), planned to manufacture and detonate two improvised explosive devices (IEDs) in the school building. The teenager's mobile devices contained instructions for making IEDs, as well as "violent, extremist and terrorist content," the department said.
It is noted that the student's parents were brought to administrative responsibility by the Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the DPR under Article 5.35 of the Administrative Code of Russia ("Failure by parents or other legal representatives of minors to fulfill their responsibilities for the maintenance and upbringing of minors").
Specialists are also conducting a set of additional operational investigative measures aimed at establishing the causes and conditions conducive to the involvement of teenagers in terrorist activities. Security and anti-terrorist protection measures have been strengthened.
"If you become aware of information about any illegal actions of an extremist and terrorist nature, immediately inform the regional directorate of the FSB by phone," the department stressed.
The press service of the Sverdlovsk Regional Court reported on January 5 that teenagers who planned a terrorist attack in one of the city's schools had been arrested in Yekaterinburg. They were found guilty of preparing for terrorism, as well as of illegally manufacturing and storing explosive devices (Part 1 of Article 30, Part 3 of Article 222.1, part 2 of Article 223.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).
