A fire broke out at a power plant in Orenburg, the Ministry of Emergency Situations told Izvestia on April 13.

It is specified that the fire at the substation occurred after an emergency. Fire and rescue units are working at the site. The Unified Dispatch Service on Duty (EDDS) clarified to Izvestia that a bang was heard, and electricity was being cut off. According to the agency, there are no casualties.

Later, the main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation in the Orenburg region reported that open gorenje at the substation had been eliminated. Information about the incident is being clarified.

On April 12, a fire broke out in an apartment building in Khanty-Mansiysk, injuring at least three people. The fire was later extinguished. It was clarified that the smoke from the fire had no negative impact on the residents of the house.
