Calculations of the Msta-B cannon destroyed the AFU UAV control point in the Kherson region

Calculations of the 152-millimeter Msta-B cannon of the 18th combined arms Army from the Dnepr group of forces destroyed the control center for unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the Kherson region. This was announced on April 13 by the Russian Defense Ministry.

The ministry noted that Russian UAV operators had identified the positions of the Ukrainian militants, after which they promptly transmitted the coordinates to the gunners. The crews deployed the cannon and inflicted fire damage on the enemy.

When the command post confirmed the destruction of the targets, the gunners disguised the gun and retreated to cover. The fire was adjusted from the Orlan-10 drone in real time.

The Msta-B crews work daily, destroying artillery pieces, mortars, armored vehicles, fortified positions and manpower of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

These combat vehicles have proven their effectiveness during a special military operation.

On April 12, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reported that the Calculation of 152 mm self-propelled artillery units (ACS) 2S5 "Hyacinth-S" of the 1st Guards Tank Army of the Zapad group of forces destroyed a stronghold, personnel and a cluster of military equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Svatovo-Kupyansk area of the special military operation zone (SVO).
