Russian ambassador in Vienna spoke about the collapse of attempts to "cancel Russia"

The Austrian authorities and mass media have failed to turn the country's population against Russia. Russian Ambassador to Vienna Dmitry Lyubinsky told Izvestia in an interview.
"Despite the aggressive anti-Russian pumping in the mass media, very many Austrians retain deep sympathy for our country. We know this well from the numerous appeals we receive from citizens from all over Austria. Any attempts to isolate or cancel Russia, and especially Russian culture, fail crushingly and cause only disappointment," the diplomat noted.
According to him, the majority of the republic's citizens do not share the fear that Russia may attack Austria. At the same time, one in four is of the opinion that it was NATO's eastward expansion that provoked the conflict in Ukraine.
