Light precipitation in the form of wet snow is expected in Moscow on Sunday night, April 13, due to an atmospheric front approaching the capital from the north. This was announced on April 12 by Mikhail Leus, a specialist at the Phobos Weather Center.
"Another portion of precipitation in the form of light snow and sleet will be brought to the metropolitan region by an atmospheric front approaching from the north this coming night," the forecaster said in a Telegram channel message.
According to him, precipitation has already been recorded in some northern regions of the Moscow region. Leus added that it will snow until Sunday morning, and icy conditions are also possible. In addition, the forecaster clarified that the temperature in the capital is expected to be from +8 to +10 degrees in the afternoon, with no precipitation.
On the same day, it was reported that cloudy weather was expected for residents of the capital region. Light precipitation occurred in some places, and ice was recorded. The atmospheric pressure was 745 mmHg.
