Air defense systems destroyed the UAV of the Armed Forces of Ukraine over the Bryansk region

Air defense systems destroyed a drone of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) over the Bryansk region. This was announced on April 12 by the Russian Defense Ministry.

"On April 12, 2025, at about 21:10 Moscow time, a Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicle of an airplane type was destroyed over the territory of the Bryansk region by air defense systems on duty," the ministry said in a statement.

The new weapons are machine guns or submachine guns mounted on special turrets.

The Ministry of Defense reported on April 12 that during the day, Russian air defense systems destroyed 154 UAVs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. In addition, six JDAM guided aerial bombs and five US-made HIMARS multiple rocket launchers were shot down.
