Russian wrestler Sefershaev won gold at the European Championships


Russian Greco-Roman wrestler Emin Sefershaev became the winner of the European Championship. The tournament takes place in Bratislava from April 7 to 13.
Sefershayev competed in the weight category up to 55 kg. In the final fight, he defeated Eldaniz Azizli from Azerbaijan. The bronze medalists were Vakhtang Lolua (Georgia) and Artem Deleanu (Moldova).
Thus, the Russian wrestler became a two-time European champion. He is also a medalist at the World Junior Championships, a medalist at the Russian Championships, and an individual World Cup winner.
The day before, Russian Olga Khoroshavtseva won the gold medal at the European Wrestling Championships in the weight class up to 57 kg. On the same day, another athlete from Russia, Natalia Malysheva, took bronze in the category up to 52 kg.
