Azur Air passengers are unable to leave Phuket and fly to Moscow due to an "operational schedule correction", the flight was delayed for almost 19 hours. This was reported to Izvestia on April 12 in the press service of the airline.

Initially, the flight was supposed to leave Phuket Airport on April 12 at 12:50 local time (08:50 Moscow time), but the departure time was postponed several times.

"Flight ZF-2902 is scheduled to operate on April 13 at 07:45 (03:45 Moscow time), the airline was forced to postpone the flight due to the closure of Phuket Airport for routine maintenance," the statement said.

According to the company, the production services are trying to do everything in their power to minimize delays. Passengers will be accommodated in a hotel while waiting for the flight.

Earlier, on February 22, the press service of Azur Air informed Izvestia that the flight from Sochi to Phuket, for the initial reason, was delayed for more than 15 hours due to adverse weather conditions. Subsequently, they reported that the staff had run out of working hours.
