Trump extends the state of emergency in the United States

US President Donald Trump has extended the state of emergency in the country for a year due to the alleged "malicious foreign policy actions" of the Russian Federation. The relevant document was entered into the federal register of regulatory acts.
It is noted that on April 15, 2021, former American leader Joe Biden introduced a state of emergency as part of executive order 14024, which also implied sanctions against Moscow.
"State of emergency in the country <... It must remain in force after April 15, 2025. <...> I am extending for one year the state of emergency in the country declared in Presidential Decree 14024," the text of the document, which is due to be published on April 14, says.
On April 2, it was reported that Trump had declared a national emergency due to the trade imbalance. According to the American president, the chronic trade deficit is a national emergency that threatens the country's security and the way of life of the population.
