McLaren driver Piastri showed the best time in the third practice of the Bahrain Grand Prix

The Australian McLaren team driver Oscar Piastri showed the best time in the third session of the free races of the fourth stage of the Formula 1 championship - the Bahrain Grand Prix. Competitions are held in Sakhir.

So, Piastri showed the best lap in 1 minute 31.646 seconds.

His teammate Lando Norris came second with a score of +0.668. The third result was shown by Ferrari Monegasque driver Charles Leclair (+0.834).

The qualification will also take place later on April 12. The Grand Prix series race itself will take place on Sunday, April 13th.

In March, Piastri won pole position for the first time in his career in qualifying for the second stage of the Formula 1 championship, the Chinese Grand Prix, with a best lap of 1 minute 30.641 seconds. Briton George Russell from the Mercedes team took second place, and teammate Piastri Norris took third place.
