The Polytechnic Museum in Moscow has prepared a science festival on the theme of space

In Moscow, the Polytechnic Museum on the basis of the Astronomical Institute has prepared a scientific festival on the theme of space. As part of the festival, they will tell you what can be found in space, as well as how galaxies differ from each other and how to calculate the exact distance to the stars from the distance of the Earth.

"This festival includes a set of different programs: popular science lectures, master classes for schoolchildren, and various kinds of excursions. This is a wonderful event that attracts the attention of both young people and adults alike to science," said Konstantin Postnov, Director of the P. K. Sternberg State Astronomical Institute at Lomonosov Moscow State University.

Also during the event, scientists offer visitors to take a space endurance test and try to make their discoveries.

Earlier that day, a space festival was held in the city's Dream Island promenade, prepared with the support of VKontakte Technology and the Roscosmos state Corporation. Lectures, workshops, interactive zones and a concert program were held at the event.
