In the Bryansk region, a man died due to the detonation of an explosive device, his wife was injured. This was announced on April 12 by the governor of the region, Alexander Bogomaz.

"Today, in the village of Kirillovka, Klimovsky district, a local resident found a polymer bag on the side of the road, and an explosive device detonated while trying to lift it. Unfortunately, the man died on the spot," he wrote on his Telegram channel.

According to the governor, the woman suffered a slight concussion. She was taken to a regional medical facility, where they provided all the necessary assistance.

Bogomaz also expressed his condolences to the relatives of the deceased. He called such actions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) a real terrorist act against civilians.

"The enemy is acting inhumanly and meanly. Be vigilant, observe the necessary security measures," the governor summed up.

Earlier, on April 4, it became known that the driver of the car was injured in the Bryansk region due to the detonation of an explosive device of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. It is specified that the man was slightly injured. He was promptly provided with all necessary medical care.
