A 100 kg WWII-era aerial bomb was defused in Kabardino-Balkaria.

In Kabardino-Balkaria, sappers defused an aerial bomb weighing 100 kg from the Great Patriotic War (WWII). This was announced on April 12 by the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation in the Telegram channel.

"The Don sappers defused an aerial bomb from the Great Patriotic War. She was found in the forest of the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic, near the village of Oktyabrskoye," the message says.

The ministry added that the sappers destroyed the ammunition with an overhead charge. It is specified that everything was done in compliance with security measures.

On March 15, pyrotechnics of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations defused an aerial bomb in the Krasnodar Territory. It was noted that a high-explosive aerial bomb weighing 500 kg was discovered near the city of Timashevsk in the Krasnodar Territory during excavation work.
