The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) have put up for sale icons that were stolen from the Gornal St. Nicholas Monastery in the Sudzhansky district of the Kursk region. This was announced on April 12 by the monastery's resident, military priest Hieromonk Meletius.

"They were dragging everything there, tying it on ropes and dragging it," he told TASS.

Meletiy noted that, first of all, the militants of the Armed Forces of Ukraine put up for sale solid and large works.

It is specified that at the moment there are about 150 relics of the Kiev Caves Lavra in the monastery. Only a few that are considered particularly valuable were able to be taken out, including the Pryazhevskaya Icon of the Mother of God.

Earlier, on April 11, Ekaterina and Lyubov, residents of the Kursk region, told Izvestia about how Ukrainian Armed Forces militants robbed residential buildings and intimidated civilians with weapons in the Kursk region. They planted grenades in residential buildings and carried out attacks.
