Roscosmos and the US National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) have agreed to synchronize the completion dates of work on the International Space Station (ISS). Dmitry Bakanov, General Director of the state corporation, told reporters about this on April 12.

"Kenneth Bowersox (NASA's Deputy Administrator for Space Programs) was at Baikonur. — Ed.) and we agreed that we will synchronize all deadlines," he said.

According to Bakanov, it would be wrong to disrupt the calendar plan for joint crews and cross-flights. It is extremely important that the manned program is not interrupted, and the Russian Space Station immediately replaces the ISS, he stressed.

The head of Roscosmos also said he would meet with new NASA administrator Jared Isaacman to discuss cooperation.

Bakanov reported on April 8 that representatives of the state corporation and NASA discussed plans for the development of orbital space after the completion of the ISS project and plans for the development of the lunar program. According to him, Roscosmos is awaiting the appointment of a new NASA administrator in order to reach agreements on all issues.
