US President Donald Trump has passed a cognitive test that determines mental abilities, which former leader Joe Biden refused to take. On April 12, the president told reporters at the White House.

"I feel like I'm in good shape. A good heart, a good soul. A very good soul. I wanted to be a little different from Biden, I passed the mental aptitude test. I don't know what else to tell you, all the answers are correct," the Associated Press (AP) quoted Trump as saying.

According to Trump, this test was passed as part of a routine medical examination. The American leader also clarified that the citizens of his country want to see a person as head of government who "flawlessly copes" with such cognitive tests.

In October last year, Trump demanded that former US Vice President Kamala Harris take an intelligence test. Then he accused Harris of being too slow and "sluggish" in answering questions.
