During the day, Russian military personnel of the Central Group of Forces eliminated more than 425 militants and six armored combat vehicles of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the area of a special military operation. This was announced on April 12 by the head of the press center of the Center group of forces, Alexander Savchuk.

"The losses of the Ukrainian armed forces amounted to over 425 military personnel, six armored fighting vehicles, including M113 and VAB armored personnel carriers, as well as a Humvee armored vehicle, three vehicles and five artillery pieces," he told TASS.

In addition, according to Savchuk, the military of the Russian Armed Forces (AF) occupied more advantageous lines and positions and hit the manpower and equipment of two mechanized and assault brigades, as well as marine brigades and territorial defense brigades of the enemy in the areas of Elizavetovka, Lysovka, Preobrazhenka, Udachny, Kotlyarovka, Novosergeyevka and Bogdanovka.
