The Nameless volcano began to erupt in Kamchatka


In Kamchatka, the Nameless volcano began to erupt, the ash rose to a height of 4 km above sea level, and its plume spread to a distance of 90 km northeast of the volcano. This was announced on April 12 by the press service of the Institute of Volcanology and Seismology of the Far Eastern Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
"The explosions raised the ashes of the Nameless volcano 4 km above sea level. The ash plume stretches for 90 km to the north-northeast of the volcano," the press service said in a Telegram channel.
It is specified that the eruption can be dangerous for aircraft operation in the region of volcanic activity. The situation has been assigned an orange danger level.
On April 9, the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Kamchatka Territory reported that there is a possibility of a strong eruption of the Nameless volcano in Kamchatka. It was noted at the time that ash emissions could occur up to 10-15 km high. This activity can also affect international and low-flying aircraft.
