Starting from Monday, April 14, a lot of sun and an increase in daytime temperature to normal are expected in Moscow. This was announced to TASS on April 12 by Roman Vilfand, scientific director of the Hydrometeorological Center of Russia.

"On Monday night, 0...+2 degrees are forecast in Moscow, and in the afternoon the temperature will be +9...+11, in the region — up to +12 degrees, and this is the norm. <...> From Saturday to Monday, the pressure will increase by 10-12 mmHg, it will be above normal by 8 mm, therefore, partly cloudy weather and plenty of sun are expected at the beginning of the week. Already in the afternoon, solar energy will make a significant contribution to the temperature increase," he said.

According to him, the real spring will come in the capital from Tuesday, April 15. So, night temperatures will fluctuate around +5 degrees, and during the day the temperature background in Moscow will be about +15 degrees, in the region — up to +18 degrees.

At the same time, solar energy will correspond to the third decade of August and it will literally be possible to sunbathe in the sun, Vilfand added. Snow will fall in the capital in the middle of the week, and in the Moscow region by Easter.

Alexander Shuvalov, head of the Meteo forecasting center, told Izvestia on April 11 that atmospheric pressure would begin to rise in Moscow on April 13. According to him, by April 16, atmospheric pressure will reach 754-756 mmHg, exceeding the norm by 9 mm.
