Spartak Moscow FC did not score a penalty and lost to Dynamo Makhachkala


Spartak Moscow Football Club (FC) lost to Dynamo Makhachkala in the 24th round of the Russian Premier League (RPL). The match took place on April 11 at the Lukoil Arena, home to the capital's team, and ended with a score of 2:1 in favor of the guests.
The match started with an own goal by red and white defender Daniil Denisov (in the 10th minute), after which Dynamo increased the lead thanks to a goal by midfielder Hussem Mrezig (in the 16th minute). In the second half, midfielder Theo Bongoda scored in the capital's team (68th minute), and four minutes before the end of the match, Spartak striker Jesus Medina missed an 11-meter shot.
Thus, the Makhachkala club occupies the ninth place in the standings with 27 points, and the Moscow team with 47 points is in second place, sharing it with Zenit St. Petersburg.
Spartak beat Rostov on April 6 in the 23rd round of the Russian Football Championship. The meeting took place at the Rostov Arena and ended with a score of 3:0. Rostov residents spent the second half of the game in the minority — forward Alexey Sutormin received a red card for a rough tackle in the 4th extra minute of the first half.
