- Reuters has learned about the intention of Western countries to continue supporting Kiev

Germany and the United Kingdom have sent a warning to the Russian Federation about the continued support of Ukraine by Western countries, despite the ongoing negotiations between Moscow and Washington. This was reported on April 11 by the Reuters news agency, citing the head of the Russian Federation's Defense Ministry, Boris Pistorius, and his British counterpart, John Healy.
"We will ensure that Ukraine continues to benefit from our joint military support. <...> Ukraine can count on us," Pistorius said.
Healy, in turn, clarified that 2025 is likely to be decisive in the Ukrainian conflict. According to him, the British side is ready to support Kiev.
On the same day, Healy announced that Ukraine's allies were promising to provide €21 billion in new military aid. The minister said that this is a record level of support. The head of the kingdom's Defense Ministry noted that the UK has made the largest contribution to military assistance this year — 4.5 billion pounds (about $ 5.9 billion).
At the same time, Healy said that London would transfer an additional £350 million ($448 million) to Kiev to strengthen the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). He specified that additional radars, anti-tank complexes and "hundreds of thousands" of drones will be provided to Kiev with these funds.
