- The doctor warned about the risk of heart attacks and strokes due to the sudden warming

General practitioner Nadezhda Chernyshova warned that weather anomalies, such as the dramatic warming in Moscow, are especially dangerous for people with chronic diseases in the acute phase.
In conversation with aif.ru On Friday, April 11, the specialist noted that the temperature drop to +20 degrees, which is expected on April 15 in the capital, will increase the risk of heart attacks and strokes.
People with cardiovascular diseases are at risk. Such temperature fluctuations are also dangerous for those who have recently had the flu or other infectious diseases, as well as for people who have been seriously injured or have undergone surgery.
"If the immune system is weakened and the body cannot react quickly and adapt to the changed environmental conditions," the doctor explained.
According to her, with sudden fluctuations in air temperature, patients complain of headaches, dizziness, and general deterioration of well-being. In addition, there may be pain in the heart. The doctor advised to give up heavy physical exertion to make it easier to survive the changes in the weather. At the same time, simple gymnastics or a walk won't hurt. It is also worth giving up heavy food, including more vegetables, fruits and greens in the diet. It is important to avoid alcohol, while smokers should minimize smoking, as all this increases the burden on the body.
Also on April 11, doctor Olga Ulankina, in an interview with RT, warned that a sudden increase in temperature could affect many organs and systems. As the temperature warms, the blood vessels dilate, and as a result, blood pressure decreases.
On the same day, doctor Dmitry Karpenko warned allergy sufferers about the risks of exacerbation of runny nose and asthma due to the sharp warming in the capital. In an interview with the Moscow City News agency, the specialist noted that a sharp increase in pollen concentrations in the environment would inevitably lead to an exacerbation of allergic diseases such as seasonal allergic rhinitis and bronchial asthma. During this period, he advised allergy sufferers to minimize time outside in the morning: it is at this time that the concentration of pollen is highest, writes Moscow 24.
