Up to 29 million rubles will be allocated for the design of a new department for the Irkutsk Design Bureau

In the Irkutsk region, they announced the search for a contractor to design a new building for the reception department of the regional clinical hospital of the Order of the Badge of Honor. This is reported by the regional government.

"The budget of the Irkutsk region for 2025 provides for the financing of design and survey work in the amount of 28.8 million rubles. The preliminary cost of construction is about 1 billion rubles," the report says.

The new building will house an emergency department with an inpatient emergency department. The facility will be able to receive up to 50 ambulances per shift.

It is assumed that the building will have at least four floors, including one underground. It is equipped with emergency operating rooms, an anti-shock ward, anesthesiology and intensive care units, and a powerful diagnostic unit.

According to IrkutskMedia news agency, contractors can apply for participation in the competition until April 18. The estimated timing of the design, as well as the construction, is not called.

Earlier in April, it was reported that Irkutsk plans to complete the construction of one of the largest children's medical institutions in the region this fall. The general readiness of the polyclinic No. 10 building is more than 90%.
