The charity service on the Moscow Mayor's portal has united almost 100 NGOs

Through a charity service on the metropolitan portal mos.ru Which appeared in October 2020, Muscovites have allocated over 200 million rubles to socially oriented programs of non-profit organizations (NPOs). This was told by Deputy Mayor Natalia Sergunina.

"Since the launch of the service, Muscovites have made more than 556,000 donations. Today, the project unites almost 100 verified NGOs," Sergunina said.

Last year, citizens made over 17,000 monthly charitable transfers to mos.ru their average size was 350 rubles. Donations go to support seriously ill children and adults, people with special needs, the poor and those in difficult situations, as well as homeless animals and other important initiatives. You can select the program of interest and the amount to transfer on the main project page.

The charity service was developed by the Moscow Department of Information Technology in cooperation with the City Committee for Public Relations and Youth Policy, with the support of the Moscow Civic Chamber.

On April 13, Russia celebrates the Day of the Patron and Benefactor.
