A man died in a fire in a sauna equipped for housing in Ussuriysk.

In the Ussuriysk city district (Primorsky Krai), a man died as a result of a fire in a bathhouse equipped for housing. This is reported by the regional Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia.

The fire occurred on Thursday, April 10, in the village of Novonikolsk on the territory of an already unused children's camp. A building that used to be a bathhouse, but was converted into housing, caught fire.

A 49-year-old man died as a result of the fire. An eyewitness found his body on the veranda.

By the time rescuers arrived, the veranda and the room were engulfed in flames. The fire area was 40 square meters, according to PrimaMedia news agency.

All the circumstances of the incident, including the exact cause of the fire, are being established.

On April 3, a 76-year-old woman and her two sons, aged 57 and 49, died in a house fire in the Nizhny Novgorod region. Previously, the flame broke out in an outbuilding and spread to the house.
