Serial production of cartridges with two Tandem bullets started in Izhevsk

To launch serial production of cartridges with two bullets in Izhevsk. This was announced on April 11 by the press service of the Techkrim company.

"We have launched serial production of 7.62 x 54R Tandem cartridges," the report says.

It is noted that such cartridges are effective when shooting at side targets, as well as up to 350 m when shooting at hijacked or oncoming targets. In addition, a cartridge with two bullets doubles the impact effect.

According to the company, such bullets have a bimetallic shell and a steel, non-reinforced core. In this case, the steel sleeve is clad with copper.

Earlier, in August last year, the State Corporation Rosatom introduced rifle cartridges designed to destroy mini-drones. It was noted that the ammunition has a 12/76 caliber and should hit low-flying UAVs of various types due to the kinetic energy of the projectile equipment. Also, cartridges differ from conventional sports and hunting cartridges by using gunpowder with enhanced characteristics and a higher mass of high-hardness shot.
