Ukraine has imposed sanctions against 18 legal entities and 130 individuals.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has imposed sanctions against 18 legal entities and 130 individuals, including Russian journalists. This follows from the decrees published on the website of the office of the Ukrainian leader on April 11.

The lists include: war correspondents of Izvestia and Rossiya 1 TV channel, TV presenters of Channel One, NTV, and Zvezda. In addition, producer Yuri Bardash, who received Russian citizenship, and political scientist Vadim Karasev were included in the sanctions list.

Among the legal entities are the International Civil Movement "The Other Ukraine", the TV and radio company "Tavria", the Information and Publishing Center of the Government of St. Petersburg "Petrocenter" and others.

The sanctions were imposed for a period of 10 years. They include the blocking of assets on the territory of Ukraine, the cancellation of licenses, a ban on the transfer of intellectual property, the termination of trade agreements, as well as the deprivation of all Ukrainian state awards.

On April 4, the US Treasury Department added four individuals from the Russian Federation, three legal entities and one Russian cargo ship to the sanctions lists.
