The Netherlands plans to allocate €150 million to Ukraine for air defense. This was announced on April 11 by Dutch Defense Minister Ruben Brekelmans.

"Therefore, I am now announcing the allocation of €150 million for air defense," the head of the department wrote on the social network X (ex. Twitter).

The minister clarified that we are talking about the American I-Hawk anti-aircraft missile systems (SAM), without mentioning the number of systems being purchased. In addition, the head of the department noted that the Netherlands supplies the Kiev regime with F-16 fighter jets and important elements of the Patriot air defense system.

Earlier, on March 6, Dutch Prime Minister Dick Schof announced the government's intention to reserve €3.5 billion to help Ukraine in 2026. At the same time, he noted that, if necessary, the funds can be used by Kiev this year.
