The results of the Artificial Intelligence track of the National Technological Olympiad have been summed up

The winners and prize-winners of the National Technological Olympiad (NTO) on Artificial Intelligence were awarded in Moscow. This was reported by the press service of Sberbank (the profile "Artificial Intelligence" NTO is conducted with the participation of the Sberbank charitable foundation "Contribution to the Future").

"The guys present at today's award ceremony are the winners. You have passed a tremendous selection, and I congratulate you on this! Today, no profession can develop without artificial intelligence. You have a unique opportunity to reinvent the world and bring about a new technological revolution, radically more powerful than all previous ones. No generation before you had such an opportunity. This is the most exciting journey imaginable. Believe in yourself and never stop developing. Constant self—development and self—actualization are the ideal target state, and I wish you to always be in it," said Herman Gref, President and Chairman of the Management Board of Sberbank, in his speech.

This season, more than 7.5 thousand students in grades 8-11 from 87 regions of Russia, as well as from Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova and Uzbekistan have applied to participate in the Olympiad. Among the 32 available Olympiad profiles, the AI track attracted the most interest, with 94 high school students participating in the final. The largest number of finalists were from Moscow, Novosibirsk region and St. Petersburg.

The finalists worked on tasks from Sber AI and the Amur Tiger Center related to the development of computer vision models for monitoring the Amur tiger population. In the individual competition, 7 schoolchildren became winners, and 16 more became prize-winners.

The best participants of the Olympiad will be able to enroll in universities without entrance exams or get the maximum number of points for the Unified State Exam in a specialized subject.

The group competition was won by five teams that received cash educational certificates in the amount of 250 thousand to 650 thousand rubles. The total prize fund of the Artificial Intelligence profile was 4 million rubles.
