Rosneft unveils new routes for motorists

Four new car routes for tourists have appeared in the Kaluga region, the press service of PJSC Rosneft said.

The routes were jointly developed by Rosneft specialists and the Kaluga Region Tourism Development Center. The new tourist routes will help travelers save time by exploring the sights of the region and refuel their car in time at the gas stations that are marked on the route map in the Rosneft application.

The Kosmicheskiy route is dedicated to the sights of the Kaluga Region as the cradle of Russian cosmonautics and includes the Konstantin Tsiolkovsky Apartment Museum in Borovsk, the Tsiolkovsky Memorial House Museum in Kaluga, as well as the State Museum of the History of Cosmonautics with one of the world's largest collections of Soviet and Russian space technology.

The Patriotic route leads to the places of military glory of the Kaluga region. Among the main attractions of the route is the first museum in Russia dedicated to Marshal Zhukov, located in the city of Kremenki. The route also includes the Ilyinsky Borders Memorial Complex, one of the key places of memory of the Battle of Moscow, the Voenfilm cinema complex, created for filming military historical films, and the Soyuz Museum of Small Arms.

The route "In the footsteps of Tsvetaeva" is dedicated to the stay of famous writers and painters in the Kaluga region. It passes through the city of Tarusa and includes the Tarusa Art Gallery with works by Vasily Polenov and Vasily Vatagin, the Tsvetaev family Museum, the Sergei Zharov Museum, the Konstantin Paustovsky House Museum, the House of Writers, as well as the arboretum garden of the scientist-agronomist Rakitsky with rare plants.

The Kaluga for Beginners route is suitable for those who are visiting the Kaluga Region for the first time. It introduces its largest attractions and includes the Nikola-Lenivets Art Park, the country's largest bird park, Sparrows, the ethnographic museum park "Ethnomir", as well as the art museum of garbage "Mu-Mu".
