The gastroenterologist named the features of a safe exit from fasting

In order to exit the post correctly, you need to follow a few simple rules. Margarita Amelichkina, a gastroenterologist at Invitro, told Izvestia on April 12 how not to harm herself after a long abstinence from food.
"It is necessary to introduce foods that were absent during the fast into the diet gradually, not all at once in one day, gradually increasing the amount. You can start with eggs, as they contain easily digestible protein and not a very large amount of fat. You can also add lean meat, such as white poultry meat, and then switch to a more habitual diet," she said.
In addition, the amount of food should be moderate, you should not overeat, so as not to create a heavy load on the gastrointestinal tract (gastrointestinal tract), pancreas and biliary system.
"We should try not to allow long breaks between meals and also not to eat too often. It is enough to eat three to five times a day to make the digestive system feel comfortable. If products are introduced abruptly and in large quantities, not following the principle of gradualness and stepwise, there may be various unpleasant symptoms from the gastrointestinal tract, such as stool changes, nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, bloating, heartburn, belching," Amelichkina added.
According to her, existing chronic diseases may worsen, which you need to be aware of before starting to fast. It is necessary to consult a doctor, as in this case, fasting may be contraindicated.
Earlier, on January 29, Natia Chekhoeva, a gastroenterologist and endoscopist at the Gastro Clinic, told Izvestia that the systematic consumption of excess calories inevitably overloads the body. This not only increases body weight, but also puts a strain on internal organs, including the heart, liver, and pancreas.
