Sobyanin spoke about Moscow's achievements at the AIM Congress 2025 in the UAE

Moscow presented its investment potential at the AIM Congress 2025 forum in Abu Dhabi (United Arab Emirates). This was announced by Mayor Sergei Sobyanin, noting that the main goal of the delegation of the Russian capital at this event was to show that Moscow today is not only a large metropolis with a population of more than 13 million people, but also a "center of attraction for capital, technology and talent."
"Today, more than 4,500 industrial enterprises are operating in the capital. The center of the city's high—tech industry is the Technopolis Moscow SEZ, the leader in the ratings of investment attractiveness of special economic zones," Sobyanin recalled in his Telegram channel.
In addition, Moscow remains a leader in the field of digitalization.: It ranks second in the world in terms of the number of technoparks — there are 46 of them in the city. In addition, there are three innovation clusters and more than 150 coworking spaces in the capital.
In addition, Moscow has been a leader in the National Investment Climate Rating for the sixth year in a row. In 2023, the city was awarded the AIM Investment Award, "confirming the high quality of economic policy," Sobyanin stressed.
At the Abu Dhabi forum, Moscow became the winner in three categories at once. In particular, the city won the main AIM — Foreign Direct Investment Award for attracting foreign direct investment (Delimobil project). In addition, Moscow became the best in the Future Cities nomination for the Technopolis Moscow Special Economic Zone project and received the Global Manufacturing Award for the contribution of government agencies and public organizations to the implementation of the cluster industrial development strategy.
