Peskov spoke about the rapid development of the situation in Ukraine

Russia is closely monitoring the development of the situation around Ukraine, especially in the context of events that may concern Russia's interests. This was stated on April 11 by Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov, answering a question about whether the Russian Federation is monitoring the continuation of the negotiation process between Ukraine and the United States on rare earth metals.
"Now a lot of events are developing in one day, and the situation is changing rapidly. Therefore, it is important to keep track of all the news," TASS quoted Peskov as saying.
He stressed that it is also important to analyze the information and "understand the consequences for Russia."
Earlier in the day, Peskov said that US President Donald Trump's special envoy for the Middle East, Steve Witkoff, had arrived in Russia. The press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation clarified that the Kremlin will inform if a meeting with Witkoff appears on the schedule of Russian leader Vladimir Putin.
