London will transfer an additional 350 million pounds ($448 million) to Kiev to strengthen the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). This was announced on April 11 by British Defense Minister John Healey at a meeting of the contact group on arms supplies to Kiev.

"This year, the UK will spend 4.5 billion pounds (approximately $5.76 billion) on military support for Ukraine. This is the highest level of expenses in history. And today I can announce the allocation of another 350 million pounds to strengthen support for Ukrainian fighters on the front line," Healy said in a speech broadcast on the Sky News YouTube channel.

He specified that additional radars, anti-tank complexes and "hundreds of thousands" of drones will be provided to Kiev with these funds. The financing will also go to the maintenance and repair of military equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Healy also said that he considers 2025 a critical moment for the Ukrainian crisis and said that European countries should make every effort to support the Kiev regime.

Earlier, on March 2, British Prime Minister Keir Starmer announced that the country would additionally allocate more than $2 billion to Ukraine for military purchases. According to him, London is going to put Kiev in a strong position so that it can negotiate from a "position of strength."

On the same day, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov drew attention to the fact that European countries do not want the conflict in Ukraine to end and demand "the continuation of the banquet."
