- Sobyanin spoke about a new stage in the construction of the Rublyovo-Arkhangelsk metro line

Moscow metro builders have begun tunneling the right tunnel between Rublevo-Arkhangelskoye and Linden Grove stations on the Rublevo-Arkhangelskaya metro line. This was announced by the mayor of the capital, Sergei Sobyanin.
The Victoria shield is used for the work, which "should cover about 2.3 km, including about 200 meters under the Moskva riverbed," the mayor said in his Telegram channel.
Work on the construction of the left tunnel began in February using the Natalie tunnel complex. The two mentioned mechanized complexes are working in parallel on the construction of the Rublyovo-Arkhangelskaya line — tunnels have already been built using them between Zvenigorodskaya and Narodnoe Opolchenie stations, and the latter is connected to General Karbyshev Boulevard, the mayor said.
The new Moscow subway line will connect Moscow City and Sberbank in Rublyovo-Arkhangelskoye. From the stations of this branch, it will be possible to transfer to the MCC, Solntsevskaya, Filevskaya, Arbatsko-Pokrovskaya and Bolshaya Koltsevaya lines. About 1 million Muscovites will receive more comfortable routes to travel around the city.
The first two stations of the branch — "Business Center" and "Shelepikha" — were opened in 2018 as part of the BCL.
Earlier in April, Sobyanin said that four stations of the Troitskaya metro line are planned to open in Moscow this year — Vavilovskaya, Akademicheskaya, Krymskaya and ZIL. In addition, the Stolbovo electric depot will be put into operation in the capital, which will serve the Sokolnicheskaya and Troitskaya metro lines. Also in 2025, the construction of the Yuzhnoye electric depot in Brateev will be completed.
