Zakharova said Zelensky was using the United States for a fossil deal

Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said on April 11 that the United States had used Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky to conclude a deal on minerals.
"With what disgust Zelensky's curators treat him. They don't even consider it necessary to hide it," Zakharova wrote on her Telegram channel, commenting on the words of former US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken, who confirmed that Zelensky himself offered Ukraine's resources in exchange for military assistance.
According to Zakharova, the president of Ukraine was "bought with his guts," and now they are wiping "dirty and bloody hands" on him.
On March 30, American leader Donald Trump said that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky wants to abandon the deal on critically important mineral resources.
The Wall Street Journal reported on March 29 that Ukraine would not be able to accept the new terms of the resource deal with the United States. According to the newspaper, the new agreement now provides Washington with not only access to Ukraine's rare earth metals, but also the opportunity to benefit from Kiev's economic projects in the field of metals, oil, gas and other natural resources.
