In the west of the capital, two walking areas near the water will be put in order — Pionersky Park in the Fili-Davydkovo district and the coastal zone of Belovezhsky Pond in Mozhaisk district. Lighting, recreation areas, footpaths and playgrounds will be updated along the embankments, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said on his personal blog.

"Pionersky Park in the Fili-Davydkovo area has not been comprehensively landscaped since 2009. At the same time, the load on it is large: there are many social facilities and residential buildings nearby, plus many residents use it to get to the subway," Sobyanin recalled.

This year, the park will renovate the territory near the Mazilovsky pond. Sun beds, swings will be installed here, and a stage area will be built. At the request of local residents, the children's play space will be expanded, zoning it by age. The territory will be additionally landscaped and the lighting system will be updated.

The coastal area of Belovezhsky Pond will be improved in Mozhaisk district. The last time work was carried out here was more than ten years ago. Walking paths with park swings and benches will be updated around the reservoir. The area will be well lit in the evening. A new sports and gymnastics complex, outdoor exercise equipment and table tennis tables will also be installed here.

In addition, a street stage will be renovated in the coastal area of Belovezhsky Pond, where various events can be held, including as part of city festivals. Last year, five large public spaces were improved in CJSC, the mayor of Moscow reminded.
