Unknown persons threw stones at a tourist train with European citizens in Kyrgyzstan, which was traveling from the city of Balykchy in the Issyk-Kul region. This was reported on the website of Kyrgyz Railways.
"It is especially unacceptable when guests of our country suffer as a result of criminal acts, which may negatively affect the international image of the Kyrgyz Republic," the organization said in a statement.
They clarified that the incident occurred around 22:00 on April 8. The necessary investigative measures are being carried out to establish all the circumstances of the incident.

Members of a criminal group have been detained who planned to make a provocative video with a "beaten Kyrgyz woman" who would allegedly talk about violence by foreigners. This was supposed to arouse patriotic feelings and provoke riots similar to the events of May 2024 in Bishkek.
