Russian military personnel are fighting for four settlements in the Izyum direction. This was announced on April 11 by the commander of the Zapad group of forces, Sergey Kuzovlev, in a report to the head of the Russian Defense Ministry, Andrei Belousov.

It is specified that since the beginning of 2025, 18 settlements have passed under the control of the Russian Armed Forces in the Izyum direction, the total area of the liberated territory has exceeded 330 square kilometers.
