The spring stage of the "Days of Russian Wines" campaign has started in Russia

The spring stage of the "Days of Russian Wines" campaign has started in Russia, thanks to which residents of the country will be able to buy domestic drinks at discounted prices. Experts of the wine industry told about it on April 11.
Restaurants will also take part in the campaign. Special conditions, tastings and contests will be available to visitors. This year's program will last until May 28.
As noted by Artur Sargsyan, Chairman of the expert group of the Roskachestvo Wine Guide of Russia tasting committee, the quality of Russian wine has changed for the better.
"This is evident from the tasting assessments of our colleagues and experts. Today, if you don't have Russian wine on your wine list, it's already bad form," Sargsyan said.
In addition, Russian winemakers continue to actively increase production rates, said Natalia Dukhina, CEO of the First Nose company.
"If two or three years ago we could say that we have five or six producers represented in wine stores, today we are already working with more than 20 producers. The geography is extensive and, of course, the Russian wine industry has grown in full growth over the past few years," said Dukhina.
Earlier, on March 22, it was reported that the growth rate of sales of Russian wines in the HOREK segment — in the hotel and restaurant business - in 2024 became higher than in retail. According to Roskachestvo estimates, one of the factors that influenced the growth of wine sales was a more competitive price compared to imported wines.
