Applications for the award for young scientists have been opened in Moscow

Applications for the award for young scientists have been accepted in Moscow, said Mayor Sergei Sobyanin.

The award recognizes researchers and developers under the age of 35, as well as doctors of science under the age of 40 for achievements in the field of natural sciences, engineering and humanities, as well as for the development and implementation of innovations in the economy and social sphere of the capital.

Applications are accepted from both individual participants and research teams until July 18 on the award's website. The results will be announced in January 2026.

There are a total of 22 nominations in the competition. Awards are given for scientific research (for example, for works in mathematics, mechanics, computer science, physics, astronomy) and for practical developments (projects in the field of aviation, biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, nanotechnology, electronics, and others).
