The number of parking lots with dynamic pricing will increase in Moscow

Thanks to the introduction of a dynamic tariff for parking lots in the center of Moscow, their loading is becoming more uniform. Therefore, the number of parking spaces with such a tariff will be increased, said Maxim Liksutov, Deputy Mayor of the capital for transport, according to the Telegram channel of Deptrans on April 11.
Due to the dynamic tariff, the load on parking during the most in-demand hours decreased by 9%, the department estimated. Drivers have become more efficient at planning time — the average parking time has been reduced by 7 minutes (to 50 minutes). There were also more than 18,000 parking sessions with parking costs below 60 rubles/hour, where there used to be a static high rate.
A pilot project with a dynamic parking tariff was launched on five streets of Moscow on November 1 last year. The cost of parking will start from 0 rubles with minimal occupancy of parking spaces and vary depending on the site's workload. If there are practically no empty spaces in the parking lot, the maximum cost will be 800 rubles per hour. Such conditions apply on Ilyinka, Novaya Ploshchad, Tverskaya Zastava Square, Nikitsky Lane and Rozhdestvensky Boulevard streets.
The day before, it was reported that motorcycles, scooters and other two-wheeled motorized vehicles would be allowed to park free of charge in paid parking lots in the Moscow region, the relevant law was adopted by the Moscow City Duma. We are talking about paid parking lots that are located on state or municipal land.
On April 2, it became known that the State Duma rejected three bills on automotive topics. One proposed to introduce a discount on the fine for non—payment of parking, the second — to allow driving a vehicle in the absence of physical documents, the third - to modify traffic cameras.
