Timur Turlov has financed the construction of an International French school in Astana

The construction of an International French school has begun in Astana. On the basis of this institution, Kazakhstani schoolchildren will be able to receive education according to French standards with the study of four languages: French, Kazakh, English and Russian. The project is being implemented with the support of Freedom Finance and Timur Turlov, the company's founder.

One of the main features of the school is the possibility of obtaining a French certificate. The opening of the educational institution is scheduled for September 2026. As Kursiv notes, the school is designed for 800 children, and separate residential buildings will be built for students from other regions.

The ceremony dedicated to the start of construction took place on May 28. It was attended by Minister Delegate for Foreign Trade and French Abroad Laurent Saint Martin, Minister of Education of Kazakhstan Gani Beisembayev and Chief Executive Officer of Freedom Holding Corp. Timur Turlov. He called Freedom's participation in the construction of the school an investment in the future.

"We are convinced that human capital is the foundation of sustainable growth. Such initiatives are shaping a new generation of leaders with a global mindset and respect for other cultures," said Freedom Finance founder Turlov.

This is not the first educational project that Timur Turlov, the head of Freedom Finance, has contributed to. So, in March 2025, with the support of Freedom Finance, a modern building specializing in artificial intelligence and fintech was opened at SDU University. The new building is equipped with high-tech laboratories, research centers and comfortable spaces for learning.

Timur Turlov, the founder of Freedom Finance, has repeatedly stressed that he considers investments in education as a strategically important area for the country's development. In his opinion, high-quality education of the younger generation and the training of highly qualified specialists are the foundation for sustainable economic growth.
