In the Republic of Bashkortostan, a 22-year-old KIA Spectra car driver hit an eight-year-old girl at a pedestrian crossing. This was announced on April 11 by the press service of the Republican Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia.

Previously, the accident occurred on April 10 at about 21:00 local time (19:00 Moscow time) near the village of Priyutovo, Belebeyevsky district. A child was running across the road at an unregulated pedestrian crossing.

According to the published footage, the foreign car did not have time to slow down and crashed into the girl at high speed. As a result of the strong impact, the child was dragged along the road for several meters.

The girl was taken to the hospital, she is alive. An administrative investigation has been launched into the accident.

This morning, near the town of Neryungri in Yakutia, five people died in an accident involving a Toyota Prius passenger car and a KamAZ truck. All the victims were in a passenger car, the truck driver was not injured. The consequences of the accident have already been eliminated.
